It a common sleeping scenario that a person is disturbed and irritated as he awakes due to an itchy bite of a bed bugs. The bed bugs are very nuisance as it likes to reside in the sleeping area of the house. The bad thing is to confront them at a time a person needed a good relaxing sleep.
The advisable option in managing a bed bug is to terminate them. In this manner the parasitic insect is fully remove in the house and the allergies and skin rashes can be avoided. Pesticide is the first thing that comes in a person mind when eradicating insect. There are several pesticides that can be use for this kind of insects and to name some of them there is the DDT and the organophosphates. But there are studies that show that there are bed bugs that developed resistance to pesticides and even evolved to withstand such chemicals.
Non-chemical approach of removing the insect in a house is an intensive cleaning and maintaining activities. These can include a total cleaning of the house, repairing or replacing walls and some wooden areas of the house, repainting and renewing wallpapers and replacing bedding furniture and materials. This may sound extensive work but health is worth this task.
The first thing to do in killing the bed bugs is too know where they nest. To fully stop the insect infestation a person should extinguish its way of reproduction and destroy its habitat. Eliminating the mature insect will only interrupt the problem for a certain period but not totally removing the infestation. Suppressing its younger generation and the coming generation will have a higher chances of totally killing the bed bugs. If the nest has been located, apply the necessary method of killing them. If the nest in the wall you can apply pesticide or if is possible remove and replace the part of the wall. If the nest is in the furniture or bedding, take the furniture in an open area and then start cleaning and refurnishing it or if a person has a budget to spend he or she can replace the whole materials.
The next thing to do is to eliminate the mature bed bugs. Once you have settle the insect nest it is time to search and eradicate those wondering mature bugs. Usually this bugs wonder for foods or searching for a place to start their own family. The mature bugs are bigger in sizes so it will be much easier to find them. Commonly this bug is found in a place where they can get into contact with human because they primary need is carbon dioxide seconded by warmth and some chemicals. A person can start looking in his bed and if he found the bugs in the bed then he can apply the most fitting way to kill them. Also look in place where a person spends time to sit, lay or relax. This can be on a sofa, a chair and even under the table.
Killing this bug depend on the person disposition on how he or she wishes to eliminate them. The types of way a person will use to remove the insect depend on how they view the situation. If the infestation looks extremely high then combination of both pesticide and non-chemical ways of removing it is much effective. If the bug can be removed by mere cleaning then it is the best way.
